Anyway, let's look at the law now. An FIR does not mean guilt and can be registered even in a false case. What matters is the evidence uncovered during investigation. She makes allegations about WhatsApp evidence and stating at a certain hotel. She needs to produce those alleged messages and prove through eyewitnesses that they allegedly stayed at the hotel, to establish prima facie that the two knew one another. If she can't, then the case collapses completely. If she can, still no evidence of criminality. A lot of further evidence needed.
So let's not believe Twitter and media reports blindly.

This is the BKC Police which refused to register the Rape FIR and she had to approach the Bombay HC for it. Sure the officers will be very enthusiastic to not receive bribes from the billionaire accused and do its duty.
Once there is acquittal, you will come back and say that 75 percent rape cases result in acquittal and hence they are false, without knowing what happens in courts.
And yes while FIR does not prove guilt, it cannot be inferred otherwise as well. For the High court to direct an FIR, there must be SOMETHING to prove that a cognisable offence of rape occurred. Ofcourse, as happens with people with money, hardly anything will progress from here. But please dont make such shit comments without knowledge.
