Need advice regarding a partial drop for CLAT and AILET 2025

Context: In 12th right now, got a rank in the 900s in CLAT. I'll most probably get a seat into one of RGNUL, NLUO or NUALS, all of which are Tier 2 NLUs which I'm not particularly keen on joining. I'm going to take a partial drop and give CLAT a shot again next year, however, I'm not sure as to how rigorous the curriculum is at these colleges and if I'll be able to simultaneously handle studying for law school alongside preparing for next year's entrances. Could anyone elaborate on this and in general provide advice regarding partial drops? Would appreciate any and all advice.

You can totally handle the pressure. Just move forward with your curriculum and take a clat mock once every two days. Read the newspaper daily and you’ll be just fine.

Thanks for the reply! Also, is it worth attempting SLAT, LSAT and MH-CET in order to gain admission into one of SLS-P, JGLS, ILS and GLC considering what I have in hand? My first priority is to do well in CLAT and AILET next year, however I'd like to have the best college possible available to me as a fallback. Is it possible to prepare for CLAT alongside studying in these institutions?

Definitely, it’s worth attempting Mh-CET and LSAT as well. There won’t be too much pressure.

Your rank is good . I would suggest that IP main Dwarka campus and 5 yrs DULLB ( which will admit students on the basis of clat rank ( 26 gen seat in ballb) are good options. Complete drop is another option you can go for.

Thank you for the insights! My parents aren't amenable to the idea of taking a full drop, they're fine with a partial one though. Haven't heard good things about IP and DU's course is just going to start and I'm not sure if it's worth taking the risk over a solid Tier 2 NLU.
