1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

I am a second-year student pursuing BBA-LLB from a somewhat decent private college (which has a good brand image). The problem is, our college tries to shove a lot of courses down our throats in the first three years, the number of courses going as high as 20 a year. Besides that, given our program is a full campus residential program, we are not allowed to leave the campus except for the term breaks (which are at max a week long) we get. Plus the internship breaks that have been provided for are for a duration of a month for each year. So, to sum it up, we have 5 months of internship allowed for by our college in our 5 years of college. Given the residential nature of our program, we are also not allowed to go (officially) for any competitions and anything as such.
I am interested in M&As.
My father has good connections in the legal field (a few partners at tier 1 law firms, and some C-suite execs), and he helps me to secure good internships. But I find it kind of dismal to expect a placement or even a ppo through these connections owing to the short tenure I'll be spending at each internship... so please, genuinely help me out, give me a roadmap of sorts as to what to do. What could I do to better my chances of knowing more, and being employable at par with decently knowledgeable individuals in the corporate law field?
