Can someone let me know the current pay in litigation in reputed seniors chambers

and simultaneously, pay in disputes team in law firms? thanks
Same "Guest" as above. My defence is stubby fingers. Here's the detail info from my end

** Purely hearsay, since people are often not very open about this topic.

Pay differs between core area/ Court of the Chambers, your city, and naturally, designated vs. senior-by-experience. No experience of Disputes Teams, hence cannot comment.

You'll come across vacancies saying "standard" pay.

Enter Narrator;

Narrator: There was never any 'standard' pay.

I have come across 0-2 Juniors at my Tier-1 City, HC Principal Bench being paid a stipend starting as low as 5K, going upto 20K at Chambers of some experienced non-designated Advocate. Know someone from a Designated Senior's Chamber getting base 30K. (Cannot really verify the figure.)

Most Chambers do not really bar juniors from taking up their own matters, so long as the Chamber work gets done.
No chamber bars but that's the catch . Chamber work 'never' gets done . You actually have to go independent to make your own clientele and focus on your own work. From what I have seen litigation is 25% more hectic than law firm practise. It is just hustle , exhaustion , sweat , shouing matches , bad infra and soul-ucking Thank God i shifted
That's true. Plus having to stay back at the office post court hours ensures that you never get time to socialise enough so as to start making your own contacts
I am only asking about salary not personal experience. Please answer accordingly. - OP
These are the realities, less about personal experience. Some seniors give you briefs to handle within months, some make you pine for those. There might be instances of non-parity of pay in the same chambers. You'll get stock answers about fixed range salaries in case of non-lit firms, in-house, or government jobs. You'll have to engage on-field with litigators in the city/ town and court where you want to practice to know the real deal
Anyone know the pay in chambers of gaurav pachnanda, darius khambatta and Percy billimoria?
@TrollishComment

Nobody is a born genius. The big names were also someone just like us. Just that they have been in the game for long now.
I heard gshanks paid freshers around 60k 4-5 years back. Don't know about now. I am not even sure he keeps freshers now.
