SAM mumbai doesn't really have much of an IBC practice left
Trilegal IBC is non-existant. AZB is the best. CAM can come second. But try not be in IBC team. Not great scope..
I agree. What else can an IBC lawyer do though ?
Can you explain what do you mean by 'terrible work culture' ? Toxicity is pervasive across the board- but are these the kind of teams where you're constantly expected to work/ no sleep and partners don't know how to push back with unreasonable client demands ?
yes, there is a reason why people quit within a year and vacancies pop up.
Hmmm well well. Seems like a lot of partners thrive off people quitting below them. They can keep squeezing out new recruits till they leave and that way Noone ever gets to climb up.
I’m working with big4 restructuring firms. Have 1 year PQE. Looking out for tier 1. (Non nlu) JSA mumbai good option? Also reaching out to CAM
Try KCO. Work is top notch but the culture and expectations are questionable.
Can’t believe you mentioned i&r practice at cam Sam is non existent
I think only CAM and AZB have a solid practice here. But from what I understand there isn't much work in insolvency for anyone at the moment and teams are struggling. Not sure where KCO stands.
Is there more work now? Or it's the same story of less work?
I think they’ve been looking for a resource since quite some time now but haven’t been able to hire anyone. Says a lot about the team.
Can imagine. KCO’s R&I team has a lot of issues to resolve.
What's the issue they have been trying to solve ? I am considering applying. Have 7 years of experience.
Wouldn’t recommend. Quality is way below par compared to a CAM SAM TTA AZB
True. Even the deal size is not at par with a Tier 1 practice.
Apparently they have a hire and fire policy. Know of quite a few people who were laid off for lack of work.
Have an interview scheduled. Should I not join them?
Wouldn’t personally recommend to join given the past experiences of people I know
Also there has been some departures in the recent months at all levels.
