I would classify Yogesh Pai of NLUD as centre-right and Suvrajyoti Gupta of Jindal as right-wing proper (he also founded the Jindal Conservative Society).
Centre right / RW are in business / science / technology. LW are in academia. Former helps the world a lot more than writing articles on how Indian muslims are scared of Hindu temples and what can be done to change that
True. One takes salary from a government institution as an educator and one is an uneducated lunatic with virtually no reach. Both equally useless and add nothing to any sphere of life. I'll let you guess which is which.
Dr. Vikram Sampath comes to mind. Idk if Sanjeev Sanyal should be called as a right wing academic as well but he's also holds pretty conservative views on most economic policies imo.
Vivekanda International Foundation ( founded by Ajit Doval is quite RW too)
Anirudh Rajput (leading authority on International Law)
Harish Salve (Not really an academic but definitely a top legal expert, see his writings and interviews defending CAA and Art 370 abrogation)
Just few names that come to mind. The numbers would surely go up as most of the senior academics today are occupying these positions because of the tutelage they enjoyed under the Congress. Case in point, Mr.Nehru who fired respected academics like BR Shenoy and Jadunath Sarkar for refusing to parrot his Socialist propaganda. With this Govt, you can see gradually more RW scholarship becoming mainstream.
