The combo of more than UGC scale salary and less workload is something that only Jindal offers at present. Eventually, you may also consider BITS who are starting soon, Mahindras, Jio (when their law school opens), Vinayaka, IFIM.
IIULER also offers that combination along with a better location
No. That's inaccurate info. IIULER charges a far higher fee than other NLUs, but pays the same UGC scale to its faculty at present.
iiuler does not offer more than ugc salary, that was one of reasons for the departure of the first vc
She had left because she refused to sign off on questionable monetary dealings taking place there.
BITS Law School has already started and are hiring as well.
Thanks, will have a look. Problem is, a salary cut is hard to swallow after a six figure USD salary. Not saying mine is necessarily paid in USD though. Keeping that information vague.
Thanks! Very helpful! What exactly do you mean by corruption though? I am curious. What should I be wary of while making the decision? Which universities are less corrupt, in your opinion?
Damn, that is quite a sorry state of affairs then. This makes the decision very difficult indeed.
No professor at Jindal posted this comment. You seem like a student.
I am neither a student nor a faculty at Jindal, but even I've seen those comments. So he/she isn't wrong.
Thank you for the information. I am not white. What is the salary based on? What is the negotiability of this?

Also, can faculty have teaching free semesters by putting all teaching in one semester?
apply for phd in the uk with a scholarship

guaranteed jobs afterwards
Do a PhD. It's very hard to make it anywhere without one. Choose where wisely since it will affect your access to different markets and institutions and will probably affect your bargaining power.
Yes, but the PhD is given by non-US law schools. That makes it impossible to get into US academia with a non-US degree. Even if that degree is from Oxbridge. See the recent hires at most T14 law schools, including Harvard and Yale.
Just wanted to know incase if you chose to move to JGLS or BML.

They are located literally in the middle of nowhere. You might not like living there unless you commute from Delhi.
