Wilders wants zero asylum and wants Islam banned (though he has now softened that position). Even the centre-right came second, so if you add the far-right and centre-right votes it's huge. You also have Trump forecast to defeat Biden according to the latest polls. So why this backlash against left/liberal parties, to the extent that even the far-right is preferable to the centre-right? What's going on? Anger at unemployment and inflation? An ideological rejection of socialism in favour of capitalism? Or a culture war backlash against left/liberal parties because they have been co-opted by woke factions?

It is understandable why European citizens are standing for hardcore right wing nationalists since they are afraid of radical Islam invading their society. I know this is politically incorrect for most folks, but it is the truth.
What’s more - feminists and women have traditionally been a voting block for the left. Once you tell women that they don’t exist as a sex class - that womanhood is an idea in a man’s head, that they should be good little girls and share their restrooms and changing rooms and political struggles with males because of one pseudo philosophers garbage theory - those women will stay at home and not vote - or they will vote the other way. When you tell them sex work is just work and they should consider it when they don’t get employed - you will lose their vote.Jews traditionally vote on the left by and large - but when you start telling them that they are colonialists in the only
Homeland Jewish people have ever known- when you tell them the rape and murder of women and children is acceptable resistance - they will not vote for you anymore.
The working class is traditionally left wing - but when you condescend to them and shame them because they won’t play pronoun games or because they object to their daughters being pushed into prostitution, and tell them they should be happy their jobs are now going to an immigrant - you’re gonna lose that vote. When you support boycotts and strikes over the issues of the petty bourgeoisie instead of recognising that the guy who drives cars and does deliveries needs the job to feed himself- you’re gonna lose that vote. The unions are going to turn slowly but surely. The left use to be the home of the working class - but no more.
By getting drawn into woke cultural politics because they are terrified of being cancelled on twitter by gen z woke idiots- the left has abandoned its traditional supporters and has gone from being a party that supported womens rights , supported secularism, supported workers - to a party of college educated elite young people. It’s a bad trade.
You can call me a bigot for standing up for women, but the reality is that in this country girl babies arent allowed to be born, when they are born they are malnourished, have anemia, die more than boy babies, when they survive they have no opportunity to go to school or have a career, if they do manage to do those things they have to be sexually harassed by males who now want to be inside our bathrooms. If you do all of this you still might end up raped or murdered because your husband doesnt like being "emasculated" or your family did not pay enough dowry or whatever, if by some crazy chance your dont face intimate partner violence- you still might die during child birth or during medical malpractice because women do receive a lesser standard of care. We live in a society where male violence against females is endemic. And you want us to not have language to express that. Because "inclusivity" or because "gender feels" or "gender identity" - which is all saying you feel like a woman because of some idea in your head. You want our movement to include you because what you feel is more important. A gendered soul- there is no proof at all that there are souls let alone that souls have a gender but do not have a race or a disability or a nationality.
Trans rights activists tell us that gender and sex are different - then why do they want to break into our sex segregated spaces? why do they say that lesbians should be attracted to trans women because of gender identity and not sex? why do they change their names and official identification in government records to be female sex?
If all trans activists wanted to do was ensure that trans people could get an education and a job and live their lives without facing harassment- no one would have a problem with that. Its that they want us to swallow this other stuff. But no- they want to play pronoun games and they want to destroy female only bathrooms. You know what happens when there are no female only bathrooms? Women stop going to work or going outside, and girls stop being sent to school. All because of a gendered soul. None of this is a straw man- you can look it all up, But you wont cause received wisdom.
