It would take the grace of god to rescue any part of humanity from such savagery and barbarism. No?
I've observed numerous discussions on this topic on Legally India, and not a single comment has delved into the rules of warβa codified protocol that must be followed during such conflicts. Surprisingly, there isn't even one informed debate on this crucial aspect. What does this lack of discourse reveal about the current state of our so-called intelligentsia, which lawyers typically represent?
I believe that live conflicts like this should prompt us to temper our emotions and biases, dive deeper into exploring the relevant international laws, and actually apply them on a case-by-case basis. Please study these rules (rules of war) and then present an informed point of view - on whether IDF conducted an operation at, say a hospital, in compliance with such rules.
Indulging in loose analogies, whataboutery, and sweeping statements is the hallmark of intellectual shallowness and ignorance.
Hamas .
Itβs on twitter ffs.
Answer to Q2 - No.
Answer to Q3 - Yes
The fact that you are so quick to assume my ideology only reveals the standard of your thinking process.
You seem to have your mind made up and I respect that you have an opinion (even if it doesn't align with mine). However, I doubt that you have witnessed the war in Gaza yourself or have an iota of proof that paints the IDF as being more cruel than Hamas.
As for evidence, once again, there are plenty of reporters reporting from ground zero who have said otherwise. You would of course not pay any heed to them.
Further, painting IDF as being more cruel than Hamas is not my goal. It should not be anyone's. Why should a terrorist's actions be the standard for a nation-state? The fact that you think that to be the line reveals more about yourself and your ideology than anything else.
Grit is a rare virtue, and we, as Indians, would do well to imbibe it into our day-to-day lives.
I hope EAM S Jaishankar is doing everything needed to proscribe Hamas. It can safely be said that Hamas is a fringe outfit that has oppressed and overtaken the Palestinian agenda, co-opting it with the goal of Jewish annihilation. It should, therefore, be rooted out of existence at the earliest.

It is nobody's claim that everything britain does is above reproach. In fact, no war, like the ongoing one in India, can produce an error-free outcome. However, there is a problem with the stated goal of HSRA, which has not been removed from its charter to dateβthat is, the aim to bring about the annihilation of the British. When such a goal is pursued, I will support britain.
Israel keeps taking over property and settling people in West bank, there is no HAMAS there.
Israel has kidnapped thousands and thousands of children and women and has kept them in prisons without trial, they have stolen organs from murdered Palestinians, they gave birth control to black Jews without their consent.
There is not a single reason to support Israel except islamophobia, just because a book says the land belong to them doesn't mean it does, I don't think you would be open to quietly give up your home if some tribal guy came and told you this land belonged to him from a 1000 years back.
Mangal Panday and Bhagat Singh ONLY attacked symbols of state? Does symbol of state include people of that state? Because they were certainly murdered. Go pick a book, check why were they hanged.
Also don't talk selective history, go read what happened when at the time of revolt of 1857, go read what happened when soldiers marched to Delhi, check out what happened at siege of Kanpur.
Our struggle is literally the same, except that British wanted to keep us subjugated in our land, while Israel wants to push them out of their own country.
