Thank god for that too.. I don't think they are capable of getting over that they are NALSAR or NUJS, even after 20 years! Let's not add one more reason for bias in our judiciary.. city / chamber / political affiliations already being some of them
Shekhar Bobby Saraf (NLSIU 1996 batch) was the first NLU grad to be elevated to a High Court (as far as I know). That was in 2017, when he was in his mid-40s (assuming he was 22 when he graduated) - about the average age when lawyers get the tap on the shoulder for elevation to a HC. The first 2 batches of NALSAR ('03 and '04) and the first batch from NUJS ('04) are hitting that age band about now. Give it some time friend, sabka number aayega.

Also, a lot of other factors are considered while nominating a lawyer for elevation to a HC, not just 20 years of practice - IYKYK.
very few are in judiciary, most of the alumni are partners in all the firms
The qualifications of High Court judges are as follows:1.
2. Must be a citizen of India.
3. Must have held a judicial office in India for at least 10 years. OR
4. Should have been an advocate in any of the High Court for at least 10 years.
