GNLU gets its 3rd Rhodes Scholar in prolific writer Zayaan Mohammad. GNLU has produced 3 Rhodes Scholar in a short span of 6 years. He also becomes the 2nd Kashmiri to bag the scholarship, Sameer Rashid Bhat was the first from Kashmir (and he was a GNLU graduate as well).
NLUD too gets 3rd Rhodes Scholar in prolific writer Ayan Gupta. NLUD has produced 3 Rhodes Scholars in a short span of 8 years, though none of these great scholars are from Kashmir. He also becomes the 1st boy from NLUD to bag the scholarship, Rishika was the first from NLUD, followed by Anupriya.
we saw what you did there - βthough none of these great scholars are from Kashmirβ. If you just take the time to look up on the Gnlu Rhodes scholars, you would find that they have equally great achievements or in fact more, Sameer Rashid Bhat is one of the initiators of Project EduAccess, which is instrumental in helping lots of marginalised students!
You should be ashamed of what you wrote "though none of them is from Kashmir" . Just compare the profiles of Ayan Gupta to Mohammad Zayaan. And then I leave it upto you.
This is actually a pretty good run-rate. 3 rhodes in a very short span of 6 years, despite deterrence from legacy nlusβ like nalsar & nls. Speaks volume of the student quality there, tho sublime professors in comparison to rainmaker-professors of nls, jindal and nlud. Good going GNLU!

I was mocked on the forum for saying so, but I will say it again: by 2030 the top 5 NLUs by student presence will firmly be the following, and this will eventually reflect in placements.
