Places more half the people sitting for placements. The batch eligible for placements is big 240+360. People opt for Judiciary, Litigation, UPSC, MPSE, Academia, CA, CS. Total people sitting for Zero Day are 160-180, of which at least 25 get offers from Tier 1 Firms i.e. Trilegal, AZB, SAM, CAM. KCo isn’t inivited because of some issues it caused during previous placements. Argus, Saraf, Luthra aren’t invited because of the Pay Discrimination, they however are invited for Day 1 Placements. Most students get placed during Day 1 and many secure PPOs from their internships. Average Package would be 7-8 LPA.
Faculty to Students ratio is very poor and the quality of faculty is worse. A few visiting professors are great, but students get by through self study. This lack is compensated by being able to intern for 8-10 months a year.
If you are thinking of GLC to NLUs life is tougher than all of them, nothing is given on platter, not even the placements. The Placement Cell is student run and the students work hard without any help from admin. Same goes for all the committees, their events are often sponsored by Law Firms who are run by Alumni. If you are willing to put in the efforts GLC could prove to be a better decision compared to certain NLUs.
IMO you can pick GLC if you don’t manage to get NLS, NALSAR, NLUD, NUJS, NLUJ, NLIU, GNLU. It can be considered at par to HNLU. After these ones you can either reattempt CLAT/AILET or pick GLC, SLSP, Jindal (Difficult Placements, but excellent Faculty and LLM prospects).

Also GLC has nonexistent Hostel and Senior Junior mentorship Scene and Campus Life. If that is important you can still consider NLUO, RGNUL, RML.
You might think of Trilegal as a small firm, but it is the highest payer and has been the most fair to GLC students compared to other Tier 1s.
If I were to place it it would be somewhere at the end of tier 1s and beginning of tier 2s.
