i emailed a T1 thirteen times in a row seeking an internship. waited about a week each time before following up. fully expected to get blocked but i got it! be persistent, sometimes it works out

Please don't do this. It is in extremely poor form. Most firms have a designated email ID for internship applications. Please use that. Most such emails will be directly binned by the Partners. If you repeatedly annoy, this might even be held against you.
