I know that one can do so, but it's risky, specially:
1. People who are from OMS may face economic issues, considering the living cost in Mumbai. Better they would have gone for Private colleges.
2. Not everyone is same, if you have made into tier 1, through your capabilities doesn't ensure that the whole batch has made so.
3. Moreover, in these colleges, there is no suprervision on students, you believe it or not but it has impact of atleast some people's thought process.
4. And, not everyone comes to Law for corporate.
I did internships from my 1st year itself. Easily cracked the interview as well. College doesn't matter, skills do. Ofcourse, I have faced competition from nlu students but my friends at GLC and ils have had the same experience as me. Firms have stopped preferring GLC and ils.
Pro tip- GLC/ils/ Mu is not hard on academics. So if one desires to do that avoid MU and ils at all costs and prefer SLS or NLU.

Sometimes it may go till 108, but not beyond. And don't join any other college of MHCET, if you are not from "Mumbai" itself.
Consider some other options. But yes, MHCET is a game of luck, and that's all. No matter now hard you have prepared, it's always probable.
And sorry to say, MHCET is such a exam, where there is zero transparency,
There is no release of Questions paper, No answer key, No clear details of How they performed normalization among the shifts, and giving 90% reservations to MH people. Don't blame yourself for scoring such marks, it's not your fault, it's the way normalization happens.

Then, under All India Rank 70 you can expect GLC/ILS.
Cutoff drastically changes in MHCET, and as OMS carries only 24-24 seats in GLC and ILS, so work hard and ace it.
Cut off marks trend past years:
2019: 110-112
2020- 112
2021- 127 ( As exam was very easy, they asked questions like, "Taj mahel is situated on which river")
2022- 110
Above cut off marks are for OMS, MHCET is a game of luck for OMS. No matter how much you are prepared, but this is what it is.
(I've prepared for various Law entrance, and got a rank of Under 50 in MHCET 2022, however, I gave this exam in 2021 as well, and even was more serious back then, but didn't got GLC bcz of 127 marks cutoff for OMS)
2. Never join any other college, except GLC/ILS. Even think twice before these two too.
