If you are in IT consulting, there is nothing like it in today's era. But that is mostly engineers. Dont think lawyers get such roles
Only audit partners in BIg 4 get such fast-track promotions within 15 years (for which a CA is needed in India). Otherwise, people who can survive take 20 years to become partners.
Lots of people leave. Grtting business is hard depending on vertical
Can I get a figure in terms of ratio of people that make partner in consulting firms? I feel the ratio is quite good for the law firms (ignoring the attrition and only taking into account the people that survive)
By big do you mean MBB or your KPMG, Deloitte etc. While I do agree the pay is close to what you mentioned for MBB, I don't it is that steep a rise in the Big 4.
Consulting roles in big firms. And by a mile. 10 yrs in a law firm isn't even equity partner these days. 10 years in consulting is attest 2-3 cr+
What is your rank? Depends on that. If a topper frok a good uni, LLM way more rewarding for sure. Since you are likely to get good LLMs abroad and specialization is mlre rewarding in todays era than generalisation
what is the salary comparison for a law firm partner vs a BCG partner (both make a killing obviously), what about associates

asking as a fresh law graduate contemplating options (mba out of india vs moving out of India in law)
