Does anyone know any good university and professors in India that teach International Armed Conflict ?? I know it comes under International Law, so a prof teaching IL would suffice, but is there any famous authority that teaches Armed Conflict specifically?

Assistant Professor Hari S. Nayar at NUALS is indeed an expert in the field. He taught us International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law Electives in detail. He is one of the best among the permanent faculty at NUALS.

CNLU, we had a specialized Honours subject for International Humanitarian Law. The faculty who taught was having PhD in International Law and Humanitarian Law from NLUD

NLUD. Three of our IL faculty between them are experts in most IL aspects including IAL. They have got multiple publications in that area in the top global journals and several awards recognising their work. Way ahead of curve than all other IL faculty in the country.

Could you name the faculty that specialises in IL ? I've only heard about the criminal laws faculty being great at NLUD, especially because of project 39A, the rest are just meh, as usual. Last I know, NUJS has the best IL faculty.

Dr. Vishnuprasad R, ex NLSIU, currently in TNNLU. Great professor in the subject of International Humanitarian Law. He also takes specific elective courses within International Humanitarian and Criminal Law.

Prof BS Chimni is an IL legend although not specifically on IHL. I believe he is currently at JGLS.

None in India. There are barely any good international law professors, let alone international humanitarian law. So armed conflict is out of the question.lol. Hopefully we get more credible IL professors if we want to achieve vishwaguru status. Haha. For now. Apply at Hague.
