Is it really not obvious? People are jealous and insecure. And I guarantee every single one of them failed to get into NLUD. Especially from some joker rival NLUs like NUJS and NALSAR who have been hit the hardest by NLUD's rise. And since these places are older, have larger batches and have more jobless graduates on LI, they troll. They're also hoping that some CLAT kid might read their comments and pick them over NLUD, but that would be a massive blunder if anyone took them seriously.

I think partly, it's also because NLUD behaves in a very exclusive manner by refusing to join CLAT and persisting with AILET, flaunting its fast rise and NIRF rank (people claim NLUD fudges placement data but except the slightly inaccurate salary figures, every other figure is near certain, but the trolls need some excuse to extrapolate), better PR machinery than the oldie law schools, not having a domicile quota, being in Delhi and considering itself as a truly "national" law school and so on. You get the gist.

And these are the trollish comments for which NLUD is known for.

By the way, since you claim to be vouching for NLUD data, care to name all the 100 plus faculties that it claims to have? The reality is that no data that comes out of NLUD can be taken at face value, in the name of PR, they pull all such shady stunts, they claim their unethical entrance exam that's violative of an SC decision in spirit and also causes great hardship for aspirants every year to be 'exclusive', and tries to hide their less than par placement record by giving multiple excuses instead. And their trademark response to every case where their questionable tactics are called out is to say that since nobody other than them cleared AILET, so they are a superior species. The juvenile nature of such response is what truly highlights the quality of NLUD and its students, or lack thereof.

First of all, if placements were as horrifically trash as you trolls make them out to be, then you'd hear it first from students of NLUD who'd feel aggrieved by their decision to even join the place after leaving places like NUJS, NLUJ, NALSAR. Needless to say, hardly anyone feels that way because recruitments are actually decent enough for people who take it seriously. Only thing missing to make it better are alum partners across tier-1s. Otherwise, we'd easily be on par, if not ahead of, all the older NLUs. Secondly, the "100+ faculties" include all visiting faculty (and we have quite a few more than other NLUs due to our location) and even the research associates employed in all the research centres at NLUD (and we actually pay dignified salaries to grads from all your other NLUs and conduct actual quality research). So, there's no "fudged" data there, just desperate allegations for mud-slinging. Not going to work. No one is stopping other NLUs from listing their full faculty lists. Stop making lousy excuses since you're too insecure to accept that a young university is doing much better than what you'd like it to.

Fine, so what's your point? I never said people don't choose NALSAR or NLS over NLUD. The fact that you jumped to such a conclusion from my response that merely mentioned it in passing, speaks volumes of how poorly you're able to comprehend my comment. Or maybe your head is filled with some gripe and bitterness about NLUD being one of the top preferences for CLAT kids.

Why are NLUD people so insecure? This thread is a cogent proof of that. If as you keep claiming, you are indeed the best, then why bother what others who are worse than you are saying about you? Go ahead and keep showing the world that you're the best. Let other people call you the best instead of doing so yourself, that's how the best behaves.

It's not about insecurity. It's about countering misinformation campaigns by a bunch of nobodies who have no knowledge on the affairs at NLUD. Otherwise, for all I care, you can claim we're a tier-4 NLU, won't change the fact that we're one of the best. But, silence to the trolls would presume that their statements are actually true when they obviously aren't.

See, even in your responses, you come across as arrogant without any ground to be. Why don't you let others call you one of the best instead of always blowing your own trumpet? And if you can't highlight your good things without measuring your d**k against other law schools, then you need to revisit your approach.

I think anyone in the real world outside the realms of this anonymous forum (where "ignorance is strength"), knows full well that what NLUD has done in a little more than a decade is commendable, to say least. We've checked literally every base for a top law school from international moot wins to foreign scholarships and jobs. And yet, the trolls keep coming back to be fed.

Anyone in the real world also knows that you have done nothing to deserve the status of the best in any field, or being better than several of the places that you claim to be superior to. Yet you keep coming back doing the same. Nobody is stopping you from highlighting the good points of your institution. You trolls are the ones who keep to defend even the bad points and keep displaying a misplaced notion of superiority born out of insecurity.

Bro why are NLU D people so insecure. NLS and NALSAR people know they are tier 1 and that they are not dependent on some sham ranking like NIRF to validate that. Why do NLU D people need the world's validation? If you are better than Harvard and Yale and NLS and NALSAR, then just chill.
