The title pretty much. Other than the higher pay and opportunity to settle abroad, are Training Contracts really much better than PPOs from SCAM and the like? Insights from people who have worked in both would be exceptionally useful.
Kian should include a tag stating 1st yr law student
With your ability of punctuation, I doubt even CAM shortlisted you.
Bro, don't vent out your personal frustration here, what he/she wrote is understandable and maybe he/she has written it in haste
Less than 5-6 people get a TC in india each year. Soch ke dekh
Not really. The number is now into double digits. Between 10 and 15 on an average.
This is the most ignorant comment I've read. Firstly, it's not two years, it's 10 months. Secondly, the least any firm gives for a trainee is 50K, which is enough to survive in London given the pay more than doubles once you qualify as an associate two years later.
Plus even during the pgdl and the sqe, you get paid maintenance grants
12k for pgdl which is 7-8 month course and 17.5k gbp for the sqe -11 months
10 months is for recognised foreign law degrees. Indians isn't bruh
TC holder here. The joining dates for me are exactly 10 months after I graduate, where I get to complete SQE1 in that period. So that's incorrect
Untill SQE is cleared one is paid as Traning Contract person/ Vacation Scheme the pay for which is more than enough after one clear SQE he/she is made Associate at Magic Circle
