Mrinal is very good, both in terms of his work and in terms of his people skills. He is being groomed to take over the reins of NLS from Sudhir eventually.
What, one accomplished alum of yours, who graduated long before NLUD was even set up, becomes a part of a government committee and NLS grads blow their trumpet as if theyβve collectively achieved enlightenment for humanity? Get a life. NLS has hardly achieved anything of note in recent times to justify all the hype, no matter how much you ride on the coat tails of your alumni legacy. And Mrinal left because of the VC change and his alum connect to NLS than the loss of Delhi advantages. And honestly, Delhi will always have more advantages than Bangalore, so rest assured weβll attract good faculty even in the future.
This is the true culture of NLUD. Slinging mud at a highly respectable and reputed academic because he had the guts to leave the place. Shame on you all!
I'm from NLUD and still liked the 'true culture' comment, idk why we can't acknowledge that his leaving was a bad loss that NLUD could have prevented. There's no need to constantly one-up and fail in the process
a) Step up hiring of good-quality alumni as faculty
b) Encourage students to pursue meaningful, non-corporate careers.

This is the beginning of their end. NLS has slid 3 positions down with NUJS, GNLU, NLUJ and NLIU taking the lead
No one at NLUD misses Mrinal except for his friends who also left all unethical folks are back at NLS.
