All rainmakers seem to have left - must be a big hit on revenue and profit post Piyush, Jay, Suri, Nishant and Karan - to my mind, 40-50 crores of revenue gone between these people?

Sad that a ship so big is dismantling like a deck of cards. Pre-2020, that place had an unmatched vibe. Now, there are fewer people who can even be nostalgic about it, I guess.
As a very recent ex-insider, I hope at least Karan sticks around to re-build the firm for the family and Advait after the MP, the COO and the quasi-MP in Mumbai reduces LnL to just "Atlas + Mumbai quasi-MP". Every partner with a spine has moved out or looking to move out actively, and the talent pulling factor for LnL is rock bottom β therefore, no chance LnL will be able to replace them with anyone decent! opeho
Please step in now and curb these folks and empower the broader partnership!
Not sure I will call some of the rest stars β other than Karan and Shinojπ
I mean how would a firm with a Managing Partner who's know known outside of Delhi be expected to do? The family thought they had a saviour - someone who could steady the ship - mark my words, in 3 years he will abandon the ship and then the family will realise what disservice they've done to RKL's legacy!

Would be a really good score for BTG Legal.
Some exits (forced or otherwise) is a part of the process. Let's wait and watch..
What are they paying currently?
It's a dead firm, didn't offer internships to tier 1 NLUs and def not hiring.
I have been hearing a lot of murmurs from L&L post-merger with Harryβs outfit. Quite a few departures (and some in pipeline), huge unhappiness with new management and non-law functionaries, Luthra family has gone back on equity distribution, and new management has fired the external consultants hired to advice on governance etc.
Can any insider shed any light?
Sad to see an institution built over years going this way!
