Rightly done by the government and its supporters. There should be strong action taken against JGU and the organisers of this event. You can't stay in a country and jeopardise its relations with other countries by adopting a different stance. If you want to do that, then leave India and go to Palestine or one of the Arab states. No country for terrorists or sympathisers of them.

Shouldn't the international relations of a democratic country be influenced and take into consideration the will and the wishes of the people? Isn't that the whole point of a protest? To make one's voice heard?
You may disagree with the actual political stance here but you can't possible in good faith argue that no one should be allowed to voice dissenting opinions.
Seems to be a bigger controversy on LI and social media than in actual news. The average Indian audience doesn't really care about Israel-Palestine issue. It will run out of steam after 2 days even on LI.
