Finished my internship recently and can confirm this... There's absolutely no work to be done there. They have seperated the interns from the associates in a small dark room in the corner and cant be bothered with them. You will go days without seeing an associate, much less a partner. Avoid guragon office at all cost.

It used to be very good 7-8 years back when Caleb Sir headed the patent practice. His replacements are not even half of his knowledge, compassion, and legacy. The firm now engages contract employees/consultants to bring down the cost. Moreover, since every tom-dick-harry in the firm wants to be a Partner (only because he/she has spent a considerable time in the firm) and is incapable of getting even a single long-term client, there has been a lot going around in the firm. Workwise, certainly there has been a downfall in both quantity and quality. However, they have been able to retain a few clients basis the legacy of old Partners and therefore you can expect a reasonable amount of work from an internship perspective. You can certainly apply for internship in Bangalore office, which has more no of matured and professionals than Gurgaon office. Regarding stipend, I am not sure if they have any. Wont be surprised if there's none, considering their preference of hiring contract employees!

Thinking of applying for an internship in this firm, was wondering how is the quality and quality of work and is this firm only into IPR matters.

Also what is the amount of stipend in the firm and which is the best office to work in?
