The Kerala bomb blast that took place today was right next to NUALS, Kochi. Police all around the place. Helicopters patrolling near the campus premises. Even the NIA is involved. Delhi too is on high alert. Despite all the security concerns, classes are to resume as usual from tomorrow. Sad state of affairs:(((
It's really not safe to conduct classes during these challenging times. The least that could be done is for the college to declare holidays for a few days until the culprits are caught or to at least not make the attendance requisite mandatory so that students who have concerns about attending college immediately after the attack may choose not to. From what I understand, one man has given a confession, but that cannot suffice until there's sufficient evidence attributing to the man's culpability. The university should take positive action in the best interests of the students.
Immediately after an attack is perhaps the safest time to attend classes, because the surrounding security would be the highest, including media attention. You people seem to be more bothered about how to miss classes and chill at home, instead of thinking about the loss of lives and injuries suffered by people and property because of the blast. Pathetic snowflakes!
There is already an ongoing discussion regarding this very issue.
