The Hurdles:
1. While I can converse fluently in Bengali, my reading and writing skills are weak. And, truth be told, I'm not exactly a pro at speaking Bengali in a professional setting.
2. On the bright side, I'm 22, and I've got more than a year before I can sit for the exams (due to the age criteria). But here's the thing – should I invest my time in mastering the language, or should I just focus on my job (I have a PPO)?
What I'm Confident About:
1. I'm pretty sure I can give the law papers a good shot.

I could opt for the Hindi paper, but during the interview (if I get through), they might not be too pleased with my not-so-great Bengali skills.

You just mentioned that u can converse in bengali fluently. That's what's required during the interview
So it all comes down to - what do you want to do more? Be a judge, or corp work? Both have their pros and cons. Weigh these and make your decision.
In that case, I would advise attempting the state civil service exam as well, plus applying for private sector jobs in banks.
