Virtual desktop software or citrix is something I find extremely painful to use. Too internet dependent, poor ui/ux, super slow (you need to wait after moving the cursor to get it to move)… I am aware that SCAM has Citrix. Which firms do not use such software and just allow people to work from the original device software? Also are there any firms that have a mandatory Office device policy?
(Had to use Citrix at scam as an intern, pls tell if rules are different for associates or partners. Similarly KCO had no such software for interns, does it change as an associate?)
Followup- i believe the admin would obviously have access to time spent on citrix... Is it something that is communicated to partners or relevant in any manner
