Seen a lot of NLS, NALSAR, SLSP and NLIU kids use their alumni to get them the best kinds of opportunties since the alumni bases are pretty strong. Factoring the alumni aspect, I feel SLSP is better placed than MNLU.
SLS P placements have always been miles ahead of MNLU Mumbai. Among private options, SLS P is perhaps the best now, considering the bad ROI for Jindal and the SLS alumni circle.
sure troll. We both know about 90% students of the 2024 batch and 60% of the 2025 batch is scouring all methods to land a job, but aren't able to answer a simple question on the Companies Act when given the chance to interview. I spoke to a Recruiter who told me SLSP 2024 batchers are spamming her linkedin asking for jobs even offering to work for free
about 5 at NALSAR, similar in NLS and NUJS I assume. 0 would be a viable number for SLSP I should say. And no, "offer for paralegalship" is not PPO, its a 6-9 months no pay labour without a guarantee, hardly albeit, of employment.
Lol, spoken like the a first year kid who has got no clue about the multiple law firm partners who are SLS alumni. Not in the same rank as the top NLUs, true, but miles ahead of MNLU Mumbai.
The OP specifically talked about tier-1 nlus not MNLu Mumbai. Good to know you are aware of the domination but sad to see your inability to read even basic comments. Spoken like a true first year law student at SLS Pune.
Also MNLu Mumbai has jumped from tier-3 wagon to tier-2 pretty fast. So buckle up else they will overtake by charging half the fees yβall charge (and donβt even start with hostels)
Dude I'm an associate at a tier 1 from a tier 1 NLU. SLS partners maybe, but tier 1 NLU ke log are Senior and equity partners who literally only matter. So alumni loyalty doesn't work
I am from MNLU Mumbai. No clue why we get so much hate but ok. In 2023 25 people got a job at T1 and T2 out of a batch of 58. 2024 batch has 120 students and 10 have already secured PPOs, some are doing their call back internships. The current PPOs range from 10 LPA to 22 LPA. do let me know if you need more information.
As someone from NLUD, we get a lot of hate as well. And weβre a tier-1 by all accounts so donβt worry about. Most hate is just by insecure folks from older NLUs who canβt stand competition. Shutting them up is quite easy if you show the achievements but there is a tendency to spread misinformation. And the numbers are not bad for a tier-2 NLU, with the right leadership, MNLU could be the next GNLU (or even better), but that needs constant government support which doesnβt seem forthcoming in the short-term.
