We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.

That's why meritorious people hate this profession.
As for the OP, there's still a button called ignore in Linkendin, last I checked. Stop crying.
(P.S: Worked in litigation, corporates, law firms and got all the opportunities by randomly connecting with people and expanding my social circle on Linkedin).
But fyi, thatβs a privileged demand and you didnβt make any sense. Go sleep
Everyone is more than happy to help you if you have a specific request or want guidance based on someoneβs journey but just connecting with random people just because they have work at fancy places is unhelpful for everyone. There is a follow option if you want to just stay in touch with their activities.
Connect with people if you want to get mentorship/guidance or help for something (something reasonable) and send a personalised message if you are sending a connection request, it will help your cause.
It
I have started to outrightly reject every such request except juniors from my college.
Please kids only send requests if you need some very specific help/guidance and no I cannot get you the internship, I donβt even know the process of how to refer someone for internship.
