It is violative of both customary international law (incendiary munitions in populated areas) as well as protocol III to the CCW. Anyone with even a remote interest in international law would know how this is violative and not be asking ignorant questions. Please learn the law.
Israel has the right to defend itself, doesn't have the right to bomb civilians and cut off essential supplies to accelerate death and devastation in the Gaza strip. That is a war crime. Folks over here understand that right? I seriously get concerned about the quality of people on LI nowadays
They don't. They see Muslims being bombed and they are ecstatic. There are many Hindutva supporters who have been appealing to the Israeli ambassador in India to be allowed to go there and kill Muslims. As unbelievable as it may sound, MSM have confirmed that.
Yes. Both the sides are. Unfortunately, those who are trying to condemn Hamas actions are also trying to justify Israel's. Two wrongs don't make a right.
If some idiots with guns came into my country, raped women and killed children, I wouldn't care about the so called international laws. I will revenge them and consolidate territorial sovereignty. If Hamas has the capacity to indulge in full time war (they do not) well and good, otherwise they signed their death warrants and that of millions of their civilians by indulging in this tomfoolery. Nobody can protect them now.
As for the civilians, Israel gave them a warning and time to relocate - something that Hamas did not. In fact, Hamas does not want to let the victims escape so as to keep using it's victim card. If it gives up hostages, maybe something could be worked out but if not, none of us can sit and lecture Israel on international "laws"
