What is the maximum notice period the recruiting law firms will accept.
My current employer has a notice period of 3 months and I plan on moving.

1 month is the standard practice regardless of whatever is written in your retainership letter

I am a fresher and even my retainership letter states 3 months and if we want to exit before the expiry of 3 months but after already serving 1 month, I have first hand seen an associate being forced to buyout. What can one do?
