Notice Period me kya karna chahiye?

I'm sure whoever your supervising associate / partner is, has asked you to prepare a list of active matters for handover. At least that's what I did during my notice period. Once that was done, I cashed in the rest and enjoyed whatever time I had.

What if I am being pressurised into completing tasks which were originally assigned to me? Failing to provide the completed and executed version of the assignment would result in my retainer fee being witheld?
