The most difficult these days is to actually start a sensible topic on this platform, it seems.
Ofc professor. But depends on where you do your llm and how you fared there. If you did exceptionally well then good for you! You have a chance to get straight into even foreign unis and teach there.

But let’s say you are a Rhodes scholar then things will be very easy for you to solve as your career will skyrocket through deep pockets of academia and you will socially gain a lot of respect. In this respect a Rhodes llm will be far better.

Corporate jobs in India are not that lucrative anymore. Toppers of NLS nlu Delhi and nalsar don’t opt for corporate jobs anymore (if you research closely). They try to pursue a llm or an interconnected masters in finance plus law. Maybe academia but that’s mostly because they want to. Some practise litigation in London. And maybe magic circle firm.

Not intending to be defamatory but after the controversy at AZB , Indian law firms in totality have lost a bit respect for their policy of overwork.
Obviously it is harder to become a top tier academic than it is to become a workaday law firm associate
