I have been recently observing this trend in open vacancies posted on LinkedIn by firms that even for fresher openings , a lot of experienced ppl are applying.They are typically people who spent 1-4 years in litigation or compliance industries or in smaller law firms and now want to make a switch .

It is making life really hard for freshers who have experience but don't have work experience.
So what? They are clearly the better candidates, why shouldn't the firm hire them over freshers?
So why don't they pick someone their own size? Working at freshers salary clearly indicate that are incompetent.Pathetic state of affairs.
