What is difference in general corporate team and an M&A team in a Law Firm, and if one is appearing for interview with a general corporate team what should one prepare?

GC does everything under the sun; mostly research work on very broad propositions and client querries. M&A is more of diligence work and strategizing transactional advisory.

1 . Mostly routine compliances related to sebi, fema and RBI (sometimes it's interchanged for cap marks)
