I'm working in a gen corp firm , looking to make a switch into core Transcations work .Have some internships in the same but not able to crack the m&a teams, since they are usually restricted to larger firms or mid - sized firms.Should I continue with my practice area and try making a switch based on my experience or make a jump into m&a into smaller firms, probably some unrelated funds practice or Transcation advisory. Any leads?
