SAM, Delhi has a solid CM team. Mumbai is just 1 partner who is an brings in business and does not really look into the execution of the deal. Try to be open to a mixed bag of work and not just ECM.
You will barely get to leave an impression in CM, you will be staffed onto the most mind numbing DD or watchout investor searches without any context whatsoever because nobody has the time to give you a skeleton background about the "why" of the transaction. In my opinion its better to choose GC or stick to a free flow structure rather than narrowing down to CM. I speak from past experience and do not want anyone else to go through what I went through.
While I am interested to intern in the CM team, could someone tell me which team is more eager to offer extensions, call backs and ppos.
