Who are some of the better partners/firms to work with in the Projects and Infra space? Honest feedback welcome.
Pallavi bedi- Phoenix Legal, ex partner Luthra and Luthra and Ex Equity Partner JSA. A great lawyer and supportive senior.
Lol. If your idea of a good senior is handing out in the office until she leaves home- even if you don't have work. Sure.
Check your facts. She is so far one of the most supportive senior I have seen in tier 1.
She has big clients and mentors her juniors really well. Please donโ€™t talk if you donโ€™t know her personally.
Phoenix doesnโ€™t really have a presence in Infrastructure sector - they are Band 4!! In Chambers - so surprised at this.
Deepto Roy, SAM. You'll die with work and it's a mixture of projects, M&A and regulatory lit. but the man is a sweetheart. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ. Current crop of PAs run the team and most deals and are all easy to work with. Place to be if you want to learn everything and work on every sector. Not a place to be if you want to be an expert at one single sector (for which, pls consider Trilegal or JSA).
Sure- but only if you want to do โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ No aviation, no mining, no port, no oil, thermal is rare.โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ. โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ. Nothing wrong with it. Just don't call it a projects team.
Thermal it seems - did you just google โ€œProjectsโ€? ๐Ÿคฃ
Why havenโ€™t you died yet with work? Stop scaring people about work. Just because you couldnโ€™t specialise in any sector doesnโ€™t mean others wonโ€™t. If only you focused on work.
Sumanto Basu. Has his own firm. Don't expect tier 1 pay. But if you want to learn, oil and gas, mining, electricity.
Nayantara, Pallavi (names in this chain) were all at some point in their lives, in Sumantos team. Nayantara from what I remember is a sweetheart. Can be a little rude, but used to make up for that rudeness in some way or the other.
Avirup's team at L&L - though now more M&A/PE work than pure projects

Gahan Singh, KCO, Mumbai. Without any doubt good mentor and good amount of work.
I have heard good reviews about Amar Narula's team at Trilegal Delhi.
