Bands remain the same. No change in them. Although, even the bands cannot be trusted. From what it appears, people at the highest level of rating have also been placed at least 3-5% below the highest pay band for their level. It only makes everyone wonder who even gets the top band or if it's only for show.
It essentially means that an A0 at Trilegal earns the same as an A1 at CAM, A1 at Trilegal earns the same as an A2 at CAM and so on. While this would be the difference at the associate level, it becomes much much wider when you move to SA, PA etc.
Nothing will happen even if people quit. It's been happening for years now. Their strategy for the last 3-4 years has been to hire en masse during day zero and use A0s desperate for jobs to make do for a few months till they also leave and are replaced by the new batch of freshers. It's a great strategy of cheap labour who will do anything you want - almost like buying cheap machinery that you know will break in a few months but it serves your purpose.

Every single senior in every team is extremely unhappy with the salary! We are expecting a mass exodus, anyway PAs and SAs have started complaining to partners.
This is true. People at higher levels have been really f***ed over this time. CAM is paying lesser than what it did for the same rating last year. It seems like they don’t care. Some people are making only 5000-7000 a month more after the increment. They have been and will continue to bleed talent.
Half of CAM is landed at Trilegal and there too they are bleeding out because same CAM partners at Trilegal.If you want a life run from CAM and Trilegal
I’m an A0 now turning A1. Increment is 7k. I work under an idiotic ▮▮▮ ▮▮▮ who leaves home by 4 PM. When i confronted him about my increase, he said mera bhi salary nahi badhate ye log.
This kind of increment is a decrement.With a 7K increase you might jump tax bands and land up in higher tax bracket and pay as tax almost all the increment.Even if you were in highest tax bracket and continue there , such a hike is still a joke.You will pay much of it in tax.
