Title only. Somehow I have landed up in a team which houses a Nepo baby. Ofc they are being marked on the best matters, given leeway to work from home city, being asked about how their fam (read dad’s been doing). Idc about all of this. But I do care when they are tagged with me on a matter and are MiA through and through giving subpar work (which adds to my workload) but in the end the partner discusses the draft with them.

If you have had a nepo baby in your team/ workplace, how did you counter it and made sure your works coming in notice and a waste of space is not hogging the limelight.
Cajole and coax the nepo baby and get on his or her good books. Do all the work sincerely meanwhile.

Play as a friend and poke holes in their work but dont get caught. Cause the nepo baby to commit 2-3 disaster level mistakes.

In either way, nepo babies dont last long without performance. Chill.
You sound like a jealous loser, had quite a few in my batch back at law school.
Second that, also watch out for yourself mate coz with this mentality you won’t last long at any decent place while those babies can keep switching with a phone call πŸ“ž
