I’ve noticed a trend in my college where children from regular families (like myself) tend to have names similar to what our parents and other grown ups have. Like Siddharth, Rahul, Varun, Arjun, Neha, Nidhi etc. On the other hand, children from elite families have more glamorous names like we see in Bollywood, like Vivaan, Kiara. Shyra, Shanelle etc.

Anyone else noticed this? I think it’s an interesting social phenomenon! In 2050, when our generation become boomers, we will have judges with names like Justice Rheanna Kapoor and Justice Yuvaan Mehta.
