I joined the organization for a couple of weeks and found the environment very toxic. They force students to attend meetings at odd hours, scold and demean them in meetings (even if they commit any small mistake or join the meetings late), they even expect you to leave all your work and work for them even during class hours and weekends. And students bear all this just for the sake of internships that the Foundation offers. Is it exploitation of students?

PS: I am not trying to demean the organization as it has done numerous good works as well. It is just I found the environment not suitable for me.
Just a clarification: I am talking about my student membership experience and not any internship experience. The Foundation offers internship opportunities to its members.
