I was working in a big company. They have recently terminated my employment citing reasons of recession, and have told me to work for 10 more days.

The notice period clause in my contract was 30 days.

Apart from this they are paying me one month's salary as severance pay.

Should I pursue legal action against them and demand more.

Your advise is genuinely app
"Big company" No do not don't, they will spend 100x of your severance to fight you at every level to not create precedent.
