so lets assume that you want to teach at Brown, the best pathway would be to do your LLM and then PhD from Brown, the PhD will take around 6 years, at that time you would be employed as a GTA there, brownose there and get in as an assistant professor and then fight for tenure for the next 6-8 years, after that if the stars align become a professor.
