One of the core and top banking firms in Delhi is SNG for sure. What i have noticed is that they have no shortage of banking deals. Now, they are also focusing on Capital Markets. So, maybe you can try there but Iām not sure you would be happy with the salary since you have already had a taste of T1 salary.
Luthra, Khaitan and JSA dominate the big ticket mandates as far as B&F/Projects are concerned in the Delhi NCR space. TT&A and SNG have great control over structured finance; including debt capital markets transactions. SAM, CAM, AZB and Trilegal are not too active as far as deal making is concerned in Delhi. I don't know Phoenix Legal and Saraf has been mentioned herein above.
The only problem I have noticed is most of the Banking work/partners are in Mumbai.
Please let me know the scope in Delhi? What are some of the good teams doing it?

- SAM has a bit of work but it's mostly insolvency litigation
- Khaitan has one senior partner so that might be worth looking into
- No clue about AZB
- JSA Gurgaon has a banking team
- Phoenix Legal and SNG do good work
- TTA has recently become a major contender after the Gautam Saha episode
