Students of today deserve the teachers that they get. Students rarely complain and take actions against bad faculty, so long as they award marks and attendance and allow delayed submissions. They do not come prepared in class or put in effort, which in turn demoralises the few good faculty who are left. If you make teaching a chore instead of a pleasure, then you will only get such teachers like you referred to.

The profession of teaching has become administrative. These faculties only work to earn money, the teachers of today do not deserve respect de facto. They lobby among themselves without knowing about the situation. Only when they are willing to work for 30K/month, they would know the real value of their job. Exactly why is this not publicised enough. No one can imagine first living in threats of rape and then gangraped. She has treated most of her wounds on her own, there could have been chances of serious infections and even death. HNLU by ignoring threats of rape exposed their student to a life threatening incident and are now being insensitive towards her. She came out in public and told the girls hostel about the horrific incident. I was in utter disgust listening how the college administration treated her. The currect administration in ▮▮▮ is a classic example of corruption and abuse of power. I hope she finds the strength to get through this. The story is legit because I have personally seen all the documents. It brings me shame to be an alumni of such an institution now. She has been vocal about the sexual harassment at J P Morgan.She had gone to Police who didn't register her case of sexual harassment saying she was a terminated employee so she was lying.The Magistrate summoned the Accused who got interim relief from High Court.But the company filed a FIR and the Police filed charge sheet.

This in indeed a case of ▮▮▮. The girl is suffering since long. It is so tragic in itself that when a girl raises her voice against these things her mental status and character gets questioned. In first year, when she went to police along with all the phone numbers and messages to register FIR, all the times she was sent back stating some of the other reason like, senior is not available, FIR can't be filed against unknown people. So always she was given just a white paper. Being in first semester she didn't understand the legalities so she turned to her University for support who as has been posted mocked her. The sense of danger she felt while being on campus and not getting any help is undescribable. In order to not disturb other students, when police used to visit her they used to meet her in guard room at the entrance. No female police officer ever used to be there and no female faculty assisted the girl on campus. Such are the state of affairs at HNLU. Why didn't the VC take the threats of murder, acid attack and rape seriously. What were the situations which made a first semester student go alone to the police station. Was nobody from University's administration appointed to look after a student getting threats. One thing that very few know is that even after getting raped, in December 2019 this girl did go to the police again and because she was threatened to keep quiet on the issue of rape, she just made a complaint of obscene calls, messages, stalking and threats but FIR was registered only under 506 and 509 of IPC. Which is a big failure on the part of police administration. She was a first sem student not knowing at all about IPC and also she was in deep shock. And if you ask what happened on this FIR...nothing. The police closed the case stating absurd reasons and this also was not informed to her. When agonized by all this pain, she went to the University in 2022, the University published what not about her on their website and one more website like she lies about her health and her presence on campus vitiates academic atmosphere. Whenever I think about what happened with her, I feel whatever crimes happened with her could have been stopped and prevented but no one heard screams of this girl. She has all the evidences with her even now, but can it bring back her peace of mind, the smile on her face and a healthy body and mind. She missed so many career opportunities. But she has not yet stopped and continues to fight for herself and other girls like her. The University has told her to be at home because none of the wardens are ready to take her responsibility so only on this ground she was told to vacate the hostel. From a bright student she eventually became a burden on University? She is at home studying from YouTube/online materials despite paying tuition fees at the University.

This is happening only because a few stupid women are filing fake sexual harassment/rape cases which is why courts have become a lot more skeptical. I believe that it's about time that we start punishing fake accusers. Feminists should push for prosecuting these people as well cuz ultimately it is affecting all the genders equally!

A female student of 5th year is being harassed by the University Administration. She tried seeking support from students on campus but it didn't yield good result which is appalling. Hence, I am posting her story in brief here because someday or the other this will definitely come in light, right from her first semester in an NLU she has faced sexual and emotional harrasment. She was getting stalked in campus during first semester(in 2019), threatened of acid attack, murder and rape. Despite the threats she went to local police and requested them to file an FIR but no one listened to her so she went to VC, Registrar, Warden at the University and gave in writing that she requires help in the matter. As there was no ICC in the University she directly went to VC and spoke with him, he pointed out grammatical mistakes in letter, said that "when a guy hears a girl's voice they generally behave this way" and did nothing on her complaint. One day she decided to go to police station on her own (which is around 2-3 km from campus)because the stalking was making her feel unsafe and she was not even able to come out of her room, wherever she would go, calls would come telling her of her location. While coming back from police station, she was abducted by four unknown men and gangraped by them at the roadside. After much begging they let her go. Three of them were looking like College students. Two other strangers helped her reach the University. Traumatised by the incident she went into deep shock and used to cry often, so one day her senior suggested her to go to a psychologist. Since then she has been diagnosed with PTSD multiple times. After some time of therapy when she raised her voice against the University and asked for internal inquiry as to why her complaint was ignored and not escalated to right authorities, University started telling her to forget about the incident, to think about reputation of University,etc. Further they also stated that her complaint letter was informatory in nature, which first semester student goes directly to VC to just inform and also she clearly wrote in her application that she needs help from University. At one point in last year they published her name in their website stating that she was raped and also made wrong allegations on her about her mental state. They even published that her mental instability is a risk. Now in 2023, around a month back she was told to vacate the hostel because wardens and medical centre of University are unable to handle her and was told to stay at home and come only for exams. It has been a month that she is at home, she is given no online classes. The University is being very cruel to a young woman who worked hard to get into an NLU. Her name was published which is a criminal offence in itself and her mental state is being questioned. It is a fact that while being on campus, she attended 70% of the classes in last two semesters and also passed in all the papers and has also interned even at SC. Further she has never harmed herself or anyone else on campus. None of her medical reports state that she should be at home. This young woman has contacted NGOs, advocates since last 2 years but till date she has failed because no one wants to go against an NLU. She is on medication right now and taking therapy. The dream of her having a happy college life is tarnished forever. Crime was happening on campus and no one heard her...Some big authority should investigate this entire matter.
