The chances of a Congress-I.N.D.I.A. win are shooting up, as Modi looks weak in the face of inflation, unemployment, communal violence, etc. But what will such a win mean for NLUs and law students? Could it mean:

1. UGC funds to GNLU get slashed?

2. More funding for NLUs in non-BJP states?

3. More reservation and populism?

Don't worry, Modi will win 2024 as RaGa has returned from his parliamentary exile. Modi will prefer RaGa as his primary opponent rather than facing Mayawati (with I.N.D.I.A. rallying behind her).

If Modi returns for a third term (also, his final term) as PM, he will certainly open Indian legal market (in real sense) for the world.

It will mean Aditya Sondhi and Sudhir Krishnaswamy directly being appointed a Supreme Court judges (Sudhir as an eminent jurist).

Ghanta. it means ghanta for law students.

The Congress govt will make it mandatory for all the women aspirants for Judgeship to meet a particular Senior SC Lawyer in his chambers after working hours! ;-)

For BJP, it is usually all about meeting politicians or their sons in private.
