In what has already been a grim placement season across top NLUs, the shortlisting procedure of absolutely randomness by India specially and Khaitan in GNLU also has ensured that poor hirings take place for them even when this year (already grim) should have seen the best of hirings. It was a clear case of connections entering the shortlisting procedure which led to both these firms shooting themselves in their own foot by trying to please their nepo kids and connections. Poor show by both these firms altogether. A great chance missed and more importantly the issue of nepo connections will continue to increase in the coming years.
