Geez. Never thought I would see this day as a state uni folk. You guys did have it rough this year. Then again the firms overhired last year as soon as the covid slowed down a bit. They are still reeling from that burden they took on.

Tier-1 NLUs still had placements. Some tier-2 nlu suffered immensely and tier-3 is crumbling under the weightage of tier-1

Bro the thing is till last year people used to take contacts for securing internships. This time contacts were used to get shortlisted, absolutely shameful. Matlab internships Tak theek tha people are now using contacts to get shortlisted, India T-1 firms are on a downward spiral, even as tech companies shine. Indus law was particularly random in shortlisting in GNLU. People in 40s having a great overall CV were ignored for selecting multiple people above Rank-60 who didn't even have a research publication to their name

Firms overhired last year, too many nepo hires this year with preferences given to moot/debate/adr people. Marks not enough this year, even if you were top ranker. T1 NLU badge was saved a LOT of people, because no placement in private colleges or t2s.
