If one has secured a placement at a T1 through campus recruitment in college, is it acceptable to intern in another place if there is no explicit bar on interning elsewhere?

I understand that many firms look down on this but it is also the reality that freshers straight out of law school have a lot to learn. If an internship provides one with relevant experience, isn't it in the interest of the T1 to allow recruits to continue to intern until graduation?

If one has the inclination and bandwidth due to lack of classes/any meaningful activity in college in the final year, is it acceptable to intern at smaller firms that teach their interns more than bigger firms whose associates are so busy that they have no time to train their interns?
