I appreciate Javed Akhtar for being an independent liberal. I am however concerned with the interviewer's inherent bias/ tilt against the present dispensation and faith - which he makes obscenely obvious in the phrasing of his questions to Akhthar. Whatever happened to him (Karan Thapar)? What happened to the man who dared to challenge the interviewee with intelligent questions (instead of calling friendly guests whose sentences he is found completing, like a propagandist)?
