Nothing usual about this year. More than half the people who sat for day zero did not get placed.
Yes. Since 2020, when NKC has come as VC, 1 week prep leave is given at NUJS.
take assessment internships in boutique, T2 and in-house roles and hope that your T1 NLU tag will save you!
The total number of accepted job offers are around 22. Otherwise, this is accurate!
NUJS has indeed performed above average but that is mostly due to 35+ PPOs and Trilegal giving 13+ Day Zero offers. Other firms gave 1-6 offers and no one except Trilegal recruited more than 4-5 students. Exactly 68 people have been placed at NUJS till now.
What is the placement ration or percentage of Total law student even counting 5 years student that are more than 1000 is only 1% of total students
Can confirm the NUJS numbers. Around 65-70 including PPOs and Day Zero jobs. Not as good as previous years, but good enough considering the market conditions this year.
Is it true that Noojies get one week off just to prepare for Day Zero and an extra few weeks or a month to intern before Day Z?
What's happening? What is the scene across colleges? Is it going to get worse in 2025? What do you do if you don't get an offer?
Underwhelming. Not that we didn't see it coming, the number if folks waiting for day 1 are significantly higher this time around.
No! Only 20 got jobs, rest of us are getting panic attacks and hoping day one turns out better. What's the use of having such an illustrious alum base if they can't even get jobs for us despite us having good CVs and internships?
Jindal places more people than this. Even NLUD does. This is the reality of Harvard of the east?
It's been bad for them for the last 6-7 years, which is why they stopped releasing placement records altogether.
At NLS the scene is pretty decent. Several law firms came except JSA. Offers are made and the day zero effect is not being felt much badly. Let’s wait and watch
Just the usual trend. Around 5-10 people will remain jobless after Day Zero and around 3-5 people will prolly remain unemployed after Day One.
NLS had their day Z today while NLUJ had it a few days back. How many students were left without a job? Heard that the scene is pretty bad a NLUJ. How's it at NLS?
